Some recent commercial photography shot for the Welsh Government and their latest Organ Donation awareness campaign.

Wales has instigated a wonderfully progressive opt out Organ Donation policy, however with the new legislation came many instances where  families over-rode the decision of the donor, or did not support deemed-consent for organ donation. This latest campaign was aimed at getting people to discuss their personal donation decision with those closest to them. The aim being to clarify peoples feelings on the subject so that their wishes can be carried out rather than overridden. The photography aimed to illustrate the issue of family members speaking on your behalf albeit against your original wishes and stressing the importance of discussing your intentions before it's too late.

The photography brief required  a variety of emotional, engaging portraits with a view to exchanging the mouths of the subject to illustrate the idea of someone else speaking on your behalf in your absence.
