Gelotologist, Curly Steve Patterson

I spent last weekend in the middle of the Brecon Beacons on a 'Digital Detox' retreat for a feature in the T2. One of the activities put on for the participants was a Laughter Yoga exercise run by Gelotologist Curly Steve Patterson seen above.  Any skepticism I had at the beginning of the session quickly dissolved once Steve started roaring with his brilliantly infectious laughter. 

I couldn't resist the contrast of Steve looking very still and quiet in this portrait, which is completely at odds with his character. The retreat was also a chance to try shooting portraiture on my new Pentax 645 which I've been in possession of for a few days and  I'm slowly  getting to grips with.
