An image from the Craghoppers advertorial photographed back in the summer. Phoebe Smith is a British adventurer and author who's written a book on her 'Extreme Sleeps'. She's set up camp and slept on the UK's highest mountain peaks and inside a WWII bomber wreckage. I struggle to sleep well in a Travelodge, that's my idea of an attempt at an extreme sleep.
An outtake from a recent commercial photo shoot for the Welsh Government. Shot in the Llanberis valley in Snowdonia.
2016 has been another fantastic year at the Gareth Iwan Jones HQ. We decided to see the year out on Jurassic Park (The incredible Cofete Beach, Fuerteventura). Spending quality time with Mrs Iwan Jones. We filmed a quick Drone Selfie that sparked a lot of interest, a wondeful finish to the year. Happy New Year to you all! x

I'm hugely excited to receive a first edition copy of my new photography book 'Caravan - A Great British Love Story'. Published in June by Francis Lincoln with a foreword written by Jonathan Meades.
It's wonderful to see all the long hours and hard work finally come to a perfectly formed 20x18 cm conclusion.
Lord of the Manor
This is Tim Shorland, or Lord of the Manor of Redwick and Northwick and of Hempton and Patchwick to you and I. Tim bought manorial titles in both South Gloucestershire and close to his home in Westbury-on-Trym — for less than £10,000 in 1990. Tim's Manorial estate is 6000 acres large around the Bristol area, which is where I photographed him near Severn Beach for The Times this week.
I shot a few portraits of a couple of chaps out hunting with their gun dog on the coast near Brean this weekend. I'd never fired a gun before, I have a pretty healthy fear of them going off in my face, but I had a go and nobody got hurt.
Rachel Greenow is a grasslands advisor based over at Aberystwyth, West Wales. Rachel is taking Silage samples on Mynydd Gorddu Farm on a misty day in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains. It's a beautiful place to call your office.
I'm starting to make a habit of this.
Yes it's a phone box...
