Within the space of five days I’ve shot two different food photo jobs, a rarity for me. The first job included a very tasty lunch cooked by one of this seasons Masterchef contestants. The second job involved cake, a lot of it.
Author Sam Weinberg recreated her Masterchef signature dish, rack of lamb with baba ganoush, flat bread and tabbouleh - for a step by step instructional piece.
The second shoot was with Bath based chef Richard Bertinet. Richard had designed a cake to launch a competition to find the perfect Royal Wedding themed cake - choux buns with RHS Royal Wedding rose petals. Designed to be shared at a street party and not just eaten with your morning coffee, which is how I went at it.
