Meet the Downsizers

I had a nice  cover of the Bricks & Mortar supplement on Friday. I'm always amazed at how much light one little canon 580 speedlite can pump out (especially when they go off in my face.... hello white light, is that you God?). This image was shot in the midday sun with the flash  reflected and then diffused in a 4 ft octobox.  They used a vertical for the cover, have a little look inside yeah.

When compared with the shot at the top you can see how much the pic desk have played around with the photograph. Don't they realise I already Mac'd the crap out of it?
